Over 10 years of expertise and experience
New beginning in 2003
When Marcello Danieli first set up on his own with business partner Uwe Spann in 2003, it was because he wanted to take a chance again on something completely new and of his own. He already had many years' broad experience in the service and logistics industry at that point, and found just such a challenge in the carrier Harder of Vöhringen (district of Neu-Ulm), which was in the market for a new owner.
Background from 1974
Robert Harder had founded the company in 1974 as a haulage business in Dietenheim near Ulm, subsequently expanding it to offer transports and removals internationally as well. New sites were opened in Ravensburg and Aalen, and the company's head office was moved to Vöhringen in 1992.
Growth since 2003
In 2003 HARDER had six trucks and eleven employees. HARDER now employs 65 people and has a fleet of 20 vehicles.
The steady growth has been driven by the company's consistent niche strategy and the courage to tackle transnational and transcontinental relocations even as a medium-sized provider.
HARDER logistics opened its Ulm site back in 2004, starting a collaboration with F. Stamm GmbH in Ulm, Neu-Ulm and Leipzig.
A further milestone was laid in 2010 with the relocation to Max-Eyth-Straße in Neu-Ulm. The new facility offers generous storage capacity with a warehouse of 4,500 m² and a further 7,000 m² of open-air space.
